In this project, we had to create a piece of furniture that would also be capable of producing music or any kind of sound. I went in the direction of mindfulness and stress relief and created a padded chair that can be adjusted for a comfortable break. Inside of the armrest is a bamboo tube with nails and rice that turns by the move of a handle and produces a rain-like sound that can be heard through the stethoscope attached to it.
